B+B SmartWorx has called Ottawa, Illinois home for some time now. Not too long ago they were acquired by Advantech Corporation, forming what we now know as Advantech B+B SmartWorx.
We recently started working on a large project with them: to bring their 6 websites under a single umbrella. This massive undertaking was started in 2016. It is expected to continue throughout most (if not all) of 2017 and beyond. The initial instance of the new website has been created. Consequently the team has been flexing their code muscles, gaining a deeper understanding of platforms like WordPress and Kentico (to name just a few).
Interestingly the project has led to many discussions about other marketing efforts. We’ve talked about other ways that The Hauser Design Group helps clients. Shortly after one discussion B+B contacted us about a video. They had an immediate need for a video showing some of the day to day activities with a focus on the manufacturing process. It needed to be delivered to the Florida DOT so that they could review and approve products offered by Advantech B+B SmartWorx.
The following was created on time with what I would call a “very aggressive deadline” – and well within budget.
